Becoming a buyer is EASY!
Before Fair:
- You can pre-register as a buyer through this website or contact us for help
- The auction coordinator will send you all the information you need and tickets to attend the fair on auction day.
Auction Day:
- Check in at the buyers table and pick up your buyer number and catalog
- Enjoy some free coffee, donuts, and beverages in the morning
- Watch for the animal you want to bid on or buy
- When you are ready to bid, raise your buyer number so the auctioneer knows you are interested in bidding on the animal being sold
- And listen to see if you get the winning bid! It is a fun & exciting atmosphere!
- Shortly after winning the bid, the 4-H or FFA member whose animal you purchased will bring you the invoice for that animal
- You will select the disposition of each purchase by simply checking a box and signing your invoice.
- When you are finished buying you can go to the auction office to pay for all your purchases in one payment.
What if you can’t attend the Auction?
- You can still purchase an animal even if you can’t attend the Auction with a Proxy buyer!
- Volunteers are available to act as your proxy on day of the auction
- You determine and authorize the amount of money you want to spend, and your proxy buyer will handle the purchase for you!
